About Us

The Carinthia Film Commission (CFC) aims to highlight Carinthia's impressive landscape and cultural diversity in national and international film and cinema productions and to strengthen Carinthia as a filmmaking location.

We are the first point of contact for filmmakers in Carinthia and provide support in all phases of production. Our greatest strengths are the wide selection of filming locations offered by our location service, our referral of companies and services in your industry, and our assistance with filming permits and funding applications.

The Carinthia Film Commission (CFC) is established as a separate division (service and advisory centre) of Kärnten Werbung Marketing & Innovationsmanagement GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Kärnten Werbung), based in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. It is represented by the management of Kärnten Werbung. Funding for the film sector is granted and administered on the basis of the Carinthian Cultural Funding Act 2001 – K-KFördG, LGBI No. 45/2002 by the responsible department of the Province of Carinthia, Department 14 – Art and Culture.
